Electric City Hillbillies
Bluegrass and Old Time Music
There are bands that play bluegrass and there are bands that play  old-time music.
Rarely do you see bands that play both.  The Electric City Hillbillies, however, play
both.  From centuries old standard traditional fiddle tunes from far away lands, we play
the tunes our ancestors brought over from the old world.  Also, more contemporary
material will be found on our set lists.  From traditional tunes like  "Lord McDonalds
Reel" to Newgrass like "Friend Of The Devil" and almost everything in between.
Some of our influences include, but are not limited to:  Bill Monroe, Flatt and Scruggs,
Tony Rice, Newgrass Revival, Charlie Moore, and many more.  It may sound like we
are suffering from an identity crisis,  But all we know is that we just deeply love and
appreciate good music!

Whether we are playing an old time tune, a great bluegrass standard, or a classic rock
number done with bluegrass attitude, our love and passion for this music comes
through.
